Ennie has bought into the squishy, "liberal" rhetoric and criticisms of "conservative" Christians. I believe he comes down on the wrong side of many issues, but he's really out to lunch on the "black lives matter" rhetoric! How does he explain the homicide statistics? Black males only account for about 7% of the nations population, but roughly 50% of all homicide victims!? *And no, they're not all being killed by the police. Ennie, and everyone else who shares this ridiculous belief, should search YouTube for the interview between Larry Elder and Mark Rubin. Larry Elder smashes the racism narrative! At least now I know to not bother with anything Ennie puts out.
I think a major issue with Ennie's point about how we should be pro-life in every way is that it detracts from the greatest violations of life. of course we should recycle and be against mass shootings, but those are both things which the secular world still, thanks be to God, oppose. There is a great platform for these issues. While of course we should do our part, nobody is speaking about abortion, nobody is talking about sexual depravity. This is when the Church is at its best, when we are counter cultural.
hahaha this conversation got derailed fast
